I just want to add that Pro Tools may sound great when used by Engineer "A", but Engineer "B's" effort in a different facility, using different material, different audio cards, different plug-ins and on different monitors, etc. We all like to read, especially about things that interest us. I just feel it would be better to at least offer some links or generate some type of reference to give support to what is otherwise a sweeping generalization. Opinions are great, sometimes that's as close as we can get to tip the scale about something we're on the fence about. ![]() ![]() Instead of playing around, as I had, all I was trying to point out is that information serves people best if there is something to substantiate a claim. Well, then try them all out and think for yourself.Īll sarcasm (in total jest) aside, I agree, this is the best way to get experience for yourself.
